Animals survive, especially in the southern states, because it can bring and catch feral pigs.

The breed we know as the American Bulldog was originally known by many different names before the name American Bulldog became the standard. In many parts of the South it is called the White English Southern Bulldog, but more often just "bulldog." The breed is not called a bulldog because of the beauty, but because they have real bulldog work.
